Domestic Violence Evidence Project

Where evidence and practice intersect.

Focused on how services impact survivors and their families, the Domestic Violence Evidence Project combines research, evaluation, practice and theory to inform critical thinking and enhance the field’s knowledge about effective services.

As we continue to build evidence for what works, for whom, under what circumstances, it is important that research and evaluation efforts include the voices and experiences of survivors, service providers, advocates and community members. Ideally, research is done collaboratively with these experts. Check out the CBPR toolkit with specific guidance for conducting Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR).
